Sven Baertschi is back with the Calgary Flames.
The team recalled the Swiss forward, plus winger David Wolf and defenceman Tyler Wotherspoon, from the Adirondack Flames of the American Hockey League Monday.
Baertschi had three assists in 14 games with the Flames earlier in the season, but hasn’t played an NHL game since Dec. 4. The 22-year-old registered five goals and 12 assists in 28 games in the AHL this season.
Wotherspoon, the 57th overall pick in the 2011 draft, has spent the entire season with Adirondack where he has two goals, 13 assists and 12 penalty minutes in 39 games. The Surrey, B.C., native dressed in 14 NHL games with the Flames last season.
Meanwhile, Wolf has 12 goals, nine assists and 68 penalty minutes in 35 games with Adirondack this season. The 25-year-old has never played a game in the NHL. He signed with the Flames as a free agent last May after spending three seasons with the Hamburg Freezers in his native Germany.
