Winnipeg Jets fans troll John Tortorella with cutout

John Tortorella had some rowdy fans behind him at the Jets game, who trolled him with a cardboard cutout of the notoriously short-fused coach.

The MTS Centre is known for having one of the loudest, most active crowds in hockey, and they lived up to their reputation Thursday night.

With the Columbus Blue Jackets in town, someone took it upon themselves to bring a life-size cutout of an angry John Tortorella.

This isn’t the first time Jets fans have tried to get under Tortorella’s famously thin skin, using the very same cutout back when Tortorella was coaching the Vancouver Canucks. They also serenaded him back when he was still coach of the New York Rangers.

Here’s a taunting chant from back when Torts was still with the New York Rangers.

Other memorable moments from the Winnipeg fans include:

Serenading the Maple Leafs with a ‘Let’s Go Blue Jays’ cheer

Asking the San Jose Sharks ‘Who’s Your Captain’ after they had removed C from Joe Thornton

Reminding Ryan Miller of his Olympic silver medal

Here’s them showing just how afraid they are of facing Carey Price

Shouting ‘Crosby’s Better’ when Alexander Ovechkin was in the building

Taunting Corey Perry with a “Katy Perry” chant
