UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon (Bones) Jones has unveiled his new line of Nike footwear, set to go on sale Friday.
Jones, who last August became the first MMA fighter to be sponsored by Nike globally, is now the first mixed martial artist with his own signature shoe.
So proud of my team for helping me accomplish being the first martial artist to own a signature shoe by major brand.

Along with the shoes, which bear his nickname “Bones” above the Nike swoosh on the tongue, the Rochester, N.Y., native also provided a sneak peak of his line of t-shirts that read “Bones Jones.”

Last April, Jones also became the first fighter to be sponsored by the UFC for a fight in the Octagon when he faced Rashad Evans at UFC 145 in Atlanta.
The 25-year-old defends his belt next weekend against Chael Sonnen at UFC 159 in Newark, N.J.
NOTES: UFC president Dana White revealed this week that the organization still hopes to hold a show at New York’s Madison Square Garden this November, provided the sport is legalized in the state by then, and that his “dream fight” would be Jones against middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Of course, Jones and Silva, who puts his title on the line against Chris Weidman in July, would have to win their bouts … The Brazilian Silva was sponsored by Nike prior to Jones, but only regionally.
