A championship grudge match between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones is once again set to headline a UFC card. The rivals are front and centre in the featured bout at Saturday’s UFC 214 after several previous attempts to schedule a rematch fell through.
Jones won a five-round unanimous decision over Cormier UFC 182 in January 2015. Since then, Jones has since gotten into trouble away from the cage and was suspended multiple times by the UFC and athletic commissions for various reasons. He was stripped of his title and Cormier won the interim belt, which he has defended twice.

Jones and Cormier are two of the most talented competitors in MMA history and together share one of the sport’s most heated rivalries. Jones has never been submitted or knocked out and has never lost a decision, while the only blemish in Cormier’s 20-fight MMA career is his loss to Jones.
