Arena league QB sets paper airplane WR

Joe Ayoob, an arena football quarterback, has set a world record for the longest paper airplane throw of all-time.

Ayoob threw a paper airplane 226 feet, 10 inches that, once verified by Guinness, will break the old record by 19 feet, 6 inches.

The plane was designed by John Collins, who is known as “The Paper Airplane Guy.

Ayoob currently plays for the Tri-Cities Fever of af2, a development league for the Arena Football League.

The 27-year-old played college football at California, succeeding Aaron Rodgers and competing alongside future NFL stars DeSean Jackson and Marshawn Lynch.
