TORONTO (November 7, 2013) – With just 25 days until kick off, Rogers Media today announced details of the NFL-style events leading up to and during the Atlanta Falcons vs. Buffalo Bills game on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. ET on City, Sportsnet, and Sportsnet 590 The FAN. The jam-packed celebrations include a weekend takeover of Yonge-Dundas Square and a pre-game street party – all culminating into an exciting halftime performance at Rogers Centre by the timeless, world-famous The Beach Boys.

Weekend Festivities – Nov. 30 – Dec.1
- Yonge-Dundas Square transforms into an NFL Football Festival, featuring live music, football-themed games, sponsor tents and giveaways, and special appearances by Buffalo Bills alumni, and the Buffalo Jills. Also, in support of the NFL’s Play 60 movement, and as part of Sports Day in Canada, ParticipACTION will take part in an afternoon of football drills and skills led by experienced instructors on Saturday, Nov. 30.
- The football bash continues Sunday, Dec. 1 with an all-out pre-game street party from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET at the corner of Front Street and John Street, available free to everyone, including both game ticket holders and non-ticket holders. Fans will receive an NFL game-day experience with live music, including two-time Juno Award winning blues band Fathead and Canadian country music star Rob Carnegie, five of Toronto’s most popular food trucks, merchandise booths, games, prizes and much more. Fans can also enjoy a drink in the fully licensed and heated Beer Garden.
In-Game Festivities – Dec. 1
- At the conclusion of the pre-game street party at 3:30 p.m. ET, all eyes shift to Rogers Centre, starting at 4 p.m.ET, where the celebrations continue throughout the game. This year, both U.S. and Canadian national anthems will be performed by a Breakfast Television contest winner (to be announced in the coming days), where this morning it was also announced that world-wide rock sensations The Beach Boys will headline this year’s halftime performance.
- In addition to the halftime show, Bills in Toronto will be giving away two pairs of tickets for an all-expense paid trip to Barbados, presented by the Barbados Tourism Authority and Accra Beach Hotel, including flight, hotel and treks on the island.
