MILAN, Italy — Fullback Yuto Nagatomo is ready to play for Inter Milan again following a month out with an injured calf.
The Japan international has been included in Inter’s squad for Sunday’s Serie A match against Hellas Verona at the San Siro.
Nagatomo hasn’t played in Serie A since picking up two yellow cards in the space of two minutes in a 4-1 loss to Cagliari in September.
The Nerazzurri are in ninth place with only four wins from their opening 10 matches and pressure is building on coach Walter Mazzarri.
Since Mazzarri uses a three-man defence, Nagatomo has been used as a winger in midfield.
Nagatomo wasn’t called up for Japan’s upcoming friendlies against Honduras and Australia.
