NAPLES, Italy — Napoli has completed the signing of striker Jose Maria Callejon from Real Madrid.
Callejon has penned a four-year deal to 2017.
Reports say Napoli has paid 10 million euros for the 26-year-old Callejon.
Callejon progressed through the ranks at Real Madrid but joined Espanyol in 2008, before returning to Madrid in 2011.
He becomes Rafael Benitez’s second signing as the new coach tries to strengthen a squad which finished second to Juventus in the Serie A last season.
