BRISBANE, Australia — Australia captain Lleyton Hewitt named an unchanged lineup for next month’s Davis Cup world group tennis quarterfinal against the United States in Brisbane as former team spearhead Bernard Tomic remained out of favour.

Hewitt stood by Jordan Thompson who won both his singles on debut against the Czech Republic in Australia’s most-recent tie, which Tomic chose to miss citing scheduling issues.

Nick Krygios has also been named to play singles in the tie at the Pat Rafter Arena from April 7-9 while Sam Groth and John Peers will play doubles.

Tomic has lost four first-round matches in ATP tour events since his third-round exit from the Australian Open in January and withdrew from the Miami Open with a back injury.
