Blues sign Jake Neighbours to two-year extension

Jake Neighbours is staying in Missouri.

The St. Louis Blues announced on Tuesday that they signed the forward to a two-year, $7.5-million contract extension with an average annual value of $3.75 million.

Before this season, Neighbours suited up for parts of three seasons with the Blues, playing a career-high 77 games during a breakout 2023-24. He scored 27 goals and recorded 38 points last season.

Through six games thus far this season, the 22-year-old has one goal and three points.

The Calgary native was selected in the first round, 26th overall, by the Blues at the 2020 NHL Draft.
