The Boston Bruins continued their busy trade deadline day by completing a deal with the New Jersey Devils.

Boston announced that it has traded forward Marc McLaughlin to New Jersey in exchange for defenceman Daniil Misyul.

McLaughlin had appeared in 12 games with the Bruins this season, netting a pair of goals. The 25-year-old had also played in 34 contests with the AHL’s Providence Bruins, where he had five goals and 14 points.

He originally joined Boston as a free agent in 2022.

Misyul has also spent the majority of his season in the AHL. The six-foot-three blue-liner has skated in 47 games with the Utica Comets, recording eight assists.

The 24-year-old made his NHL debut on Oct. 22 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. It was the only game he played with New Jersey this season.

He was drafted by the Devils in the third round of the 2019 draft.
