Defenceman Jack Johnson signs one-year deal with Colorado Avalanche

Veteran defenceman Jack Johnson has signed a one-year deal to remain with the Colorado Avalanche for $775,000.

The 36-year-old from Indianapolis, Ind., has 320 points in 1,107 NHL games over 17 seasons.
