Lindstrom claimed off waivers from Canadiens by Ducks

Defenceman Gustav Lindstrom was claimed off waivers from the Montreal Canadiens by the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday.

Lindstrom, 25, had three goals and one assist for four points in 14 games with the Canadiens this season. He had no points in four games with the AHL’s Laval Rocket. 

Lindstrom was the Detroit Red Wings’ second-round pick, 38th overall, in 2017. Over five seasons with the Wings and Canadiens, Lindstrom has five goals and 24 assists for 29 points in 142 career games.
