NHL suspends Red Wings’ Rasmussen two games for high-sticking Bruins’ Krejci

Detroit Red Wings centre Michael Rasmussen has been suspended two games for high-sticking Boston Bruins forward David Krejci, the NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced.

Krejci exited the game in the second period after he took a stick to the head from Rasmussen after the Red Wings forward completed a check.

Krejci has two goals and six assists in eight games this season.

Rasmussen has one goal and four assists in five games.
