The Ottawa Senators will be getting a boost to their lineup for Saturday’s tilt in Carolina.

David Perron will be in the lineup against the Hurricanes, according to Sportsnet’s Alex Adams.

Perron has been out of the lineup since Oct. 19 to attend to his newborn daughter, who was dealing with a health scare.

“Sometimes there’s bigger things, and I had to take care of it,” he said. “It seems like it’s more under control. “We’re not fully, fully out of the woods, but we’re getting there.”

The veteran forward has no points in five games this season after joining Ottawa this past off-season on a two-year, $8 million deal.
