The Nashville Predators have placed defenceman Dante Fabbro on waivers, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reports.
Fabbro hasn’t registered a point through six games with the Predators this season.
The 26-year-old signed a one-year, $2.5 million contract this past off-season.
Nashville selected Fabbro 17th overall in the 2016 NHL Draft and was a highly touted prospect from his time with Boston University.
In 315 career games, the Coquitlam, B.C., native has 16 goals and 72 points.
