The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled Sean Reid-Foley ahead of their game against the Boston Red Sox, the team announced Sunday.
To make room on the roster, Toronto optioned right-hand pitcher Jordan Romano to triple-A Buffalo.
Reid-Foley has been with the Buffalo Bisons since April 4. He has pitched two innings so far this season, earning a 0-1 record, 13.50 ERA and a 3.0 WHIP.
Romano joined the active roster on June 12, going 0-1 this season with an 5.06 ERA and a 0.56 WHIP from pitching just over five innings.
