Blue Jays’ Aaron Sanchez to see hand specialist

Toronto Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez talks about his start and the frustration of having to deal with yet another blister.

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Aaron Sanchez will meet with a hand specialist on Friday in an effort to solve his ongoing blister issues.

Sanchez has been dealing with blisters on his pitching hand all season, accounting for three stints on the disabled list. Most recently, the 25-year-old was forced out of Wednesday’s game against the Boston Red Sox after just four innings.

Sanchez has pitched 36 innings over eight games so far this year and has an ERA of 4.25.
