The Toronto Blue Jays have activated right-handed pitcher David Paulino off the minor-league disabled list and added him to the active roster ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Paulino was acquired along with Ken Giles and Hector Perez in the trade that sent Roberto Osuna to the Houston Astros.

The 24-year-old appeared in seven minor-league games in 2018, pitching to a 4.67 ERA with 33 strikeouts in 27 innings. Paulino has nine games of MLB experience, owning a 6.25 ERA in 29 innings.
