Blue Jays announce 2016 home spring training schedule

The Toronto Blue Jays will play 16 home games in Dunedin, Fla., next spring, starting with a contest against the Philadelphia Phillies March 2.

The Blue Jays will wrap up their spring schedule with two games in Montreal against the Boston Red Sox in addition to the 16 games at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium.

Before spring training begins the Blue Jays must add starting pitching, restore bullpen depth and find a backup catcher. The club started the off-season by re-signing Marco Estrada for two years and $26 million.
