Blue Jays’ Estrada leaves game vs. Mets with hip injury

John Gibbons talks about Marco Estrada’s early exit against Mets and why he felt the Blue Jays would rally back to pick up the win.

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marco Estrada left Tuesday’s game against the New York Mets in the first inning with left hip soreness.

X-rays came back negative and Estrada is currently undergoing further evaluation.

Estrada struck out Brandon Nimmo to open the game before walking Jose Bautista and surrendering a two-run home run to Asdrubal Cabrera.
