An off-season of change continues for the Toronto Blue Jays.

The team’s hitting coach Brook Jacoby has been fired, Sportsnet’s Ben Nicholson-Smith has confirmed.

The 58-year-old, whose name was removed from the team’s website prior to an official announcement being made, had served as Toronto’s hitting coach since November 2014.

Sportsnet can also confirm the team has parted ways with first base coach Tim Leiper, who has held that position with the Blue Jays since 2014 and with the organization since 2013.

The moves comes one week following the Blue Jays hiring Charlie Montoyo as the team’s new manager.
