Blue Jays’ Josh Donaldson suffers injury setback

Blue Jays voice Buck Martinez joins the Jeff Blair Show to gauge trade interest for J.A. Happ, says the Blue Jays should sit back and let the buyers come to them and set the price.

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson has suffered a setback while recovering from his calf injury.

Donaldson will be re-evaluated in three weeks after an MRI revealed an acute calf strain.

The Blue Jays say the issue arose while Donaldson was fielding ground balls.

Donaldson, who has not appeared in a game since May 28, has been reduced to a .234/.333/.423 batting line in 36 games.
