Blue Jays right-hander Chris Rowley claimed off waivers by Rangers

Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Chris Rowley has been claimed off waivers by the Texas Rangers.

Rowley has been part of the Blue Jays system since 2013 and made his MLB debut on Aug. 12, 2017 against the Pittsburgh Pirates when he surrendered one run on five hits while striking out three in 5.1 innings pitched.

In total, the 27-year-old has four big league appearances to his name with a 7.91 ERA, 11 strikeouts and 11 walks in 19.1 innings pitched.
