Toronto Blue Jays star rookie slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has agreed to participate in this year’s Home Run Derby during the MLB All-Star festivities next month in Cleveland.
In 169 at-bats over 45 games so far this season, the 20-year-old has seven home runs and 19 RBIs with a slugging percentage of .426.
His father, hall of famer Vladimir Guerrero, won the derby in 2007 during his time playing with Los Angeles.
