Toronto Blue Jays prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is on his way to triple-A Buffalo after a rehab stint with the single-A Dunedin Blue Jays.
Guerrero, the No. 1 prospect in baseball, went 4-for-15 in four games with Dunedin while rehabbing an oblique strain he suffered in spring training.
Once he’s in Buffalo, the 20-year-old will be one step away from making his long-awaited major-league debut with the Blue Jays soon.
