In honour of Roy Halladay, the Philadelphia Phillies unveiled a plaque featuring the late pitcher on the organization’s Wall of Fame.
The ceremony, which also celebrated former Blue Jays general manager Pat Gillick, took place during the club’s game against the Miami Marlins Saturday night.

Halladay spent the final four seasons of his storied career with the Phillies, compiling a 55-29 record over that span.
The two-time Cy Young award winner memorably pitched a perfect game with the Phillies in 2010, then followed suit with a historic no-hitter against the Cincinnati Reds in the NLDS that same season.
Halladay was previously honoured by the Toronto Blue Jays ahead of the team’s opening day game at Rogers Centre on March 29.
‘Doc’ spent his first 12 big league seasons with the Blue Jays, endearing himself to baseball fans across Canada along the way.
