The Philadelphia Phillies have announced that the team has no new positive COVID-19 results after Thursday’s round of testing.

Despite the results from the team’s latest tests, the Phillies say activity at Citizens Bank Park remains suspended until further notice.

MLB postponed the Phillies’ weekend series against the Toronto Blue Jays in Philadelphia on Thursday after two staff members tested positive for the coronavirus. The team’s two-game mid-week series against the New York Yankees had already been delayed earlier this week as a precaution.

The positive Phillies tests came after the team hosted the Miami Marlins last weekend for a three-game series after which the Marlins announced multiple players and staff had contracted COVID-19. As of Thursday, 17 Marlins players and two staff members had reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Phillies are scheduled to resume play on Tuesday when they are set to host the Marlins, although the situation is obviously a fluid one as Miami deals with its outbreak. Marlins games are currently postponed through Sunday.
