Report: Blue Jays trade relief pitcher Joe Biagini to Astros

The Toronto Blue Jays have traded relief pitcher Joe Biagini to the Houston Astros only minutes before the trade deadline, according to Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun.

The return for the trade was not immediately reported.

Biagini joined the Blue Jays as a Rule 5 pick in 2015 and carved out a role in the bullpen. In 203 games over four seasons, 22 of them starts, Biagini has a 4.76 ERA with 261 strikeouts.
