A proposed trade between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels will reportedly not happen, according to The Athletic‘s Ken Rosenthal.

The deal would have seen outfielder Joc Pederson dealt to the Angels for infielder Luis Rengifo in a trade first reported on Tuesday.

Reports of the deal came shortly after a blockbuster trade where the Boston Red Sox would have sent Mookie Betts to the Dodgers. That deal was held up as the Red Sox were reportedly seeking more assets in the trade.

On Sunday night, reports from ESPN’s Jeff Passan indicated the Betts trade would go through with David Price joining him with the Dodgers for outfielder Alex Verdugo and shortstop Jeter Downs and catching prospect Connor Wong.

Pederson, 27, finished last season with a 249 batting average and .876 OPS in 149 games to go along with 36 home runs and 74 RBIs. He’s a former all-star with six years of big league experience.

Rengifo hit .238 with seven homers and 33 RBI in his first MLB season.
