The Texas Rangers have returned Canadian pitcher Jordan Romano to the Toronto Blue Jays.

After being selected by the Rangers during the Rule 5 draft in December 2018, Romano failed to make Texas’ big league roster ahead of the 2019 regular season and was subsequently offered back to Toronto.

The right-hander pitched to a 12-8 record and 4.11 ERA with the triple-A Buffalo Bisons and double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats in 2018, striking out 128 batters over 142.1 innings of work.
