Three Toronto Blue Jays prospects have been suspended for violating the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Shortstop Hugo Cardona, infielder Yhon Perez and catcher Leonicio Ventura tested positive for the banned performance-enhancing substance Boldenone. All three players, currently with the rookie-level Dominican Summer League Blue Jays, have been issued a 72-game suspension without pay effective at the start of the 2018 season.
