The Minnesota Twins have claimed right-handed pitcher Oliver Drake off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays.

This marks the third time this season Drake has been claimed by a team off waivers. The Blue Jays claimed him from the Los Angeles Angels on July 26. Drake pitched 1.2 innings in two relief appearances for the Blue Jays, giving up three earned runs and collecting two strikeouts.

Drake was designated for assignment on Monday when the Blue Jays acquired reliever Ken Giles in a trade with the Astros.
