Carly Clarke was named head coach of Canada’s U23 women’s national team, Canada Basketball announced Wednesday.
Clarke is expected to lead Canada at GLOBL JAM from Aug. 13-17, a basketball tournament featuring some of the best young talent in the world.
She is also the head coach for Toronto Metropolitan University’s women’s basketball team and led the school to its first championship in program history, in 2022.
Canada’s GLOBL JAM opponents are Brazil, Puerto Rico and the Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team.
