Delaney Gibb showed why she's one of Canada's top NCAA women's basketball players on Saturday.
The guard, from Raymond, Alta. notched the first triple-double for BYU since 1986 as her team knocked off visiting Montana 97-53 in Provo, Utah.
The five-foot-11 Gibb, in her third year at BYU, had 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Cougars improved to 3-0.
"It looked like a fun game to play in, and then we had an amazing individual statistical night from our point guard. I can't believe that it's been 40 years since we had a triple-double, so that's pretty cool," said BYU head coach Lee Cummard, per BYU Athletics.
Gibb is averaging 13.7 points, 9.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists this season.
Gibb was named an All-Big 12 first team member last season and was the Big 12 freshman of the season the previous year.
