The second annual GLOBL JAM showcase is set to return to Toronto starting next month and viewers can watch it exclusively on Sportsnet.
The competition's main highlight will be GLOBL JAM FIVES – a 5x5 Under-23 basketball tournament featuring men’s and women’s teams from around the world.
The first game will be played between the men's teams from the United States and Germany on July 12 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre followed by the Canadian women’s and men’s squads playing back-to-back games against Team Africa.
Coverage will be televised across TV and through live streaming on SN NOW. Danielle Michaud will serve as the host, and together with analyst Sherman Hamilton, provide pre-game, post-game and halftime coverage throughout the week of the tournament.
Toronto Raptors play-by-play announcer Matt Devlin is set to call the games alongside analyst Alvin Williams, while Savannah Hamilton will be the reporter, bringing viewers news from the sidelines.
GLOBL JAM 2023 is the second international collaboration between Sportsnet and Canada Basketball since unveiling a multi-year partnership in February 2021.
