The eight-time All-Star was hurt in Monday’s home loss to Orlando. He sat out a seven-point loss Wednesday at Cleveland.
New York has dropped 6 of 10. Anthony is averaging 21.5 points and has led the team in scoring 21 times this season.
Reserve forward-centre Kyle O’Quinn has returned from a two-game absence because of a sprained right ankle.
The Knicks have dropped 4 of 5 to the Atlanta Hawks, their opponent Saturday night.
