Villanueva says KG called him ‘cancer patient’

Boston Celtics’ star Kevin Garnett is known for his on-court trash talk, but according to Charlie Villanueva’s Twitter account, the Big Ticket may have crossed the line Tuesday night.

After Garnett’s Celtics beat Villanueva’s Pistons 109-86 in Detroit TuesdayVillanueva tweeted the following between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Wednesday:

“KG talks alot of crap, he’s prob never been in a fight, I would love to get in a ring with him, I will expose him.”

“KG called me a cancer patient, I’m (irked) because, u know how many people died from cancer, and he’s tossing it like it’s a joke.”

“I wouldn’t even trip about that, but a cancer patient, I know way 2 many people who passed away from it, and I have a special place 4 those.”

Villanueva has alopecia areata (an autoimmune disorder resulting in hair loss, especially on the scalp) and is a spokesman for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.

Several NBA players have their Twitter accounts hacked recently.

The Pistons are in Atlanta Wednesday to play the Hawks.
