OAKLAND, Calif. — Seth Curry is getting a chance to join older brother Stephen Curry with the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors signed the undrafted former Duke guard to a non-guaranteed contract Friday. He will compete for a roster spot in training camp, which starts in late September.
Curry was recovering from a right shin injury during the pre-draft process. He averaged 17.5 points on 46.5 per cent shooting in his final season at Duke.
Making Golden State’s roster will be difficult because most positions are already set. If he doesn’t make the team, Curry could also try to work his way up through the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League.
The Bay Area News Group first reported Curry would sign with the Warriors.
