DeMar DeRozan has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

DeRozan led Toronto to a perfect 4-0 last week, averaging 26.8 points on 57.3 per cent shooting, while also collecting 7.3 rebounds and dishing out 6.0 assists per contest.

The Raptors faced a difficult back-to-back on the road in Houston and New Orleans, but came away with victories in both courtesy of some incredible offence. DeRozan was the chief orchestrator as they scored 129 and 125 points, respectively.

After defeating the New York Knicks easily, 107-84, DeRozan capped off the week with a team-high 33 points in a win over the Washington Wizards this past Sunday.

This marks the sixth time DeRozan has earned the honour during his nine seasons in Toronto.
