NBA stars question Curry all-star exclusion

The NBA announced the all-star reserves Thursday night as selected by the league’s coaches and as is always the case when there is a limited roster size, there are a few players that failed to make the cut resulting in a raised eyebrow or two.

The most notable exception appears to be Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who’s exclusion from the game caused more than few NBA players to make take up his case on Twitter.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash and Miami Heat forward LeBron James were both pretty diplomatic on the subject:

James also provided a word of warning for all of the first-time all-stars of which there are five:

Curry was also pretty diplomatic in his response as he congratulated teammate David Lee, who will be making his second appearance in the game.

Lee seemed pretty happy but believed Curry should be in there.

Atlanta Hawks forward Anthony Tolliver, who played for Golden State during the 2009-10 season, raised a questionable concern:

Another former teammate of Curry’s, Carl Landry, who now plays for the Sacramento Kings, believes that maybe the wrong people are picking the reserves:

A pair of Sixers (Evan Turner, Damien Wilkins) also spoke up in favour of Curry.

As did a couple of rookies in Phoenix Suns point guard Kendall Marshall and Warriors forward Draymond Green.

Which NBA player was the most glaring omission from the NBA All-Star rosters?
