MIAMI — Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem hopes to be back with his team by late March.
Haslem says his recovery from surgery to repair a ruptured ligament in his left foot is going as planned. He is now out of his cast and in a walking boot, no longer needs crutches and hopes to travel with the Heat when they depart later this week for a five-game, 10-day road trip.
He was injured Nov. 20 against the Memphis Grizzlies and had surgery three days later. The Heat entered Tuesday’s game against Milwaukee at 27-9 overall and 19-4 since Haslem got hurt.
