Forward Justin Anderson has rejoined Raptors 905 after his 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets came to an early end Wednesday.

The Nets waived Anderson after nine days in order to sign guard Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot to a 10-day deal of his own, since the league’s deadline for signing a two-way player is Jan. 15.

To make room for Anderson, Raptors 905 waived E.C. Matthews, who was one of the players the team signed after both Anderson and Paul Watson Jr. (who is also presently back with the 905) were signed to 10-day contracts earlier this month.

The 26-year-old Anderson performed well during his initial 13 games with the 905, averaging 21.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists on 48.4 per cent shooting.

He played in three games and averaged 5.7 minutes for the Nets during his short stint.
