Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis returned to action for Thursday’s marquee matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The 26-year-old big man sat out of the Lakers’ previous game against the Indiana Pacers after injuring his right ankle in the fourth quarter of a contest against the Atlanta Hawks last Sunday.
Davis has only missed two games this season and has helped Los Angeles to the league’s best record at 24–4 — a mark tied by the Bucks.
Thursday night’s game not only features the two best teams in each conference, but a clash of multiple early MVP candidates, with LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo also sharing the floor with Davis.
This season, Davis is averaging 27.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.6 blocks on 49.9 per cent shooting from the floor.
