NBA GMs pick Raptors to finish fourth in Eastern Conference

Tim and Sid wonder if the Toronto Raptors are getting enough respect for their accomplishments, or if those even matter as the season approaches.

General managers believe the Toronto Raptors are the fourth-best team in the Eastern Conference, according to an annual survey conducted by NBA.com.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards came in above Toronto on the list, with the Milwaukee Bucks rounding out the top 5.

Ninety-three per cent of GMs believe the Golden State Warriors will repeat as league champions, with the remaining seven per cent choosing the Cavaliers.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are expected to take the biggest step forward with the addition of Jimmy Butler and the continued development of Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Other notable predictions include LeBron James winning MVP, Paul George being the off-season acquisition that will have the biggest impact on his new team and Lonzo Ball winning Rookie of the Year honours.
