Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray erupted for 48 points against the Boston Celtics, the most ever scored by a Canadian in an NBA regular season game.
The point total also ties Steve Nash for the most points ever scored by a Canadian in any NBA game, the former two-time MVP doing so for the Phoenix Suns in Game 4 of the 2005 Western Conference Semifinals against the Dallas Mavericks.
Murray's 48 points are the MOST scored by a Canadian in a regular season game in NBA history (Andrew Wiggins – 47pts on 11/13/2016)!

Murray, from Kitchener, Ont., shot 19-for-30 from the field, leading the Nuggets to a 115-107 victory over the Celtics and helping the team improve to 9-1 on the young season.
He had 23 in the first half and then could not miss in the fourth quarter, scoring 19 to close out Boston.
Denver is off to their best start since the 1976-77 season.
