Raptors to face Rockets, Trail Blazers and Suns in scrimmages

Basketball Central breaks down the Toronto Raptors chances and strategies for when the NBA returns to play, pointing out that this team's championship was not a fluke, and they're ready to go for another.

The Toronto Raptors will face the Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns in scrimmage games prior to the season resuming.

The tune-up game schedule for the teams that will be part of the league’s return-to-play plan was released on Saturday, and runs from July 22 to July 28.

Toronto’s first game, against Houston, is scheduled to take place on July 24.

Currently the NBA’s plan is to resume its season, which was suspended in mid-March due to the novel coronavirus, on July 30 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.
