The Toronto Raptors will be without the services of two key cogs in their rotation on Sunday, with point guard Kyle Lowry and forward Pascal Siakam listed as out against the Denver Nuggets.

Lowry will miss his second consecutive game after missing Toronto’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers with a left thigh contusion.

As for Siakam, the Cameroonian landed awkwardly on his tailbone following a second quarter lay-up attempt that was heavily contested by Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum. After staying down on the court and being visibly shaken up for a few minutes, Siakam was able to get up under his own power and returned to the game briefly in the third quarter. Back tightness ended up forcing him to sit for the final 17 minutes of action.

Entering Sunday’s slate of games, Lowry is tied with Russell Westbrook atop the NBA’s assist per game leaderboard averaging 10 per game. Siakam, meanwhile, is in the midst of a breakout season, averaging career-highs across the board in points per game, rebounds, assists, steals, field goal percentage and three-point percentage.
