Toronto Raptors shooting guard Patrick McCaw will not return to Sunday’s pre-season game against the Chicago Bulls due to a twisted left knee, the team announced.

After getting tangled up with Bulls’ guard Otto Porter Jr., McCaw was seen limping to the dressing room.

When asked after the game, head coach Nick Nurse did not appear to think the injury would keep McCaw out of the lineup long-term.

“He left with a little bang on his knee,” Nurse said. “He just got hit. I think he’ll be okay but we’ll check on it and see how he is, hopefully he’ll be okay.”

It remains unknown whether McCaw will suit up for the Raptors’ next pre-season contest on Friday against the Brooklyn Nets.

McCaw is a three-time NBA Champion, winning twice with the Golden State Warriors and once as a member of last year’s Raptors.

In 26 regular season games for Toronto last season, the 23-year-old averaged 2.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in just over 13 minutes of action.
