The Toronto Raptors will be without Serge Ibaka and Kyle Lowry against the Orlando Magic on Friday as they continue to recover from injuries, but both are nearing a return and may be back in the lineup by Dec. 1, head coach Nick Nurse told reporters.

Both Lowry and Ibaka have been sidelined since Nov. 8, when they were hurt against the New Orleans Pelicans. Lowry left the contest with a thumb injury and Ibaka with a right ankle sprain.

Through eight games with Toronto this season, Ibaka has put up averages of 14 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks while shooting 52.4 per cent from the floor.

Lowry has averaged 21.8 points, 6.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 42.6 per cent from three-point range.

If both players return in the timeframe Nurse is hoping, they would be in the lineup when the Raptors play the Utah Jazz on Dec. 1 at Scotiabank Arena.
